Paducah, Kentucky is among Kentucky's largest cities and is the focal point of business, industry, and arts development in the Purchase Area of Kentucky.

The famous port city continues to develop its downtown.

In addition to a celebration of stunning folk art at the National Quilt Museum, it is also host to one of the fastest growing and successful arts developments in the country. The renovation of Paducah's oldest neighborhood, Lowertown, has helped Paducah become a celebrated cultural destination in the United States.

Paducah is also a major center for the performing arts as well.
The Market House Theater features local performers and works extensively with the school systems, both public and private, in McCracken County. The Carson Four Rivers Center features numerous national touring acts.

Paducah has a thriving and unique downtown shopping environment, a large shopping mall and popular national chain restaurants on its outskirts. It also has several highly regarded dining establishments in its New Orleans-like downtown.

Paducah and McCracken County offer excellent public school system choices. There are also solid choices in private education as well.

Families also get close access to the famed Land Between the Lakes outdoor recreation area and national wildlife preserves.

Paducah is truly one of Kentucky's great urban treasures, providing an outstanding living environment for a young family seeking the advantages of life in a major city and avoiding many of the compromises.
