Fleming CountyHospital is a 52-bed, acute care facility nestled in the rolling hills ofnortheastern Kentucky, close to the Ohio River. Established in 1962,the original hospital prospered through the years, and a beautiful newfacility was opened in 2008 to accommodate its growth and expansion.
The new hospitalfeatures many private rooms, expanded operating rooms, a larger EmergencyDepartment, new state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment andmany other enhancements. The new hospital campus boasts approximately100,000 sq. ft., which enables its more than 260 staff members to providequality care to residents of Fleming and surrounding counties.
MeadowviewRegional Medical Center, a 100-bed acute care facility that is JointCommission-accredited, provides medical services to a seven-county area. The hospital is a five-time winner of the 100 Top Hospital award. In2009, Meadowview completed a $6 million dollar renovation to the EmergencyDepartment. Services include 24-hour ER, six-bed ICU/CCU, and DiagnosticImaging that includes X-ray, 64-slice CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Radiographic/FluoroscopicImaging, Nuclear Medicine and Digital Mammography.
