Western State Hospital seeks a BE/BC Family Practice physician to deliver patient services on the Western State Hospital campus.
The position would deliver primary care services to Western State patients.
The employed position serves regular office hours with time off on weekends and holidays as well as paid vacation days. All outpatient with little to no evening call. The candidate would be eligible for all state benefits including malpractice insurance coverage and retirement benefits.

Western State Hospital (WSH)
A Joint Commission Accredited licensed psychiatric facility located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. It is operated by the Kentucky State Department of Health and Human Services. The facility has been in continuous operation since 1854 and is situated on one of the most picturesque medical campuses in Kentucky. WSH employs approximately 750. This includes physicians (psychiatrists, internal medicine, family practice), psychologists, nurses, social workers, aides, a dentist, a chaplain, laboratory & x-ray technicians, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, a beautician, administrative and support staff. We actually treat approximately 2,400 patients per year. Although we are licensed for 350 beds, we maintain a census of approximately 110.
