Cumberland Family Medical Centers, Inc. (CFMC) is a collection of community health centers located in the heart of Kentucky's Lake Region. CFMC was started in 2007 as the result of a group of concerned citizens' desire to provide better health care for their rural areas.  Led by local physician, Dr. Eric Loy, community health center funding was applied for and awarded.  From two small clinics in 2007, CFMC has quickly grown into roughly 160 locations serving 31 counties.  Driven by health care needs of the population and fueled by multiple health disparities, we have evolved into one of the most progressive and fast growing community health centers in Kentucky.  Providing complete primary care services for the entire family, we also provide oral health services, school-based health centers in our local schools, a pediatric wellness program, behavioral health services, local scholarship opportunities, outreach services, a 340B discount pharmacy program, and both pediatric and OB/GYN care.

Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. continually strives to increase our service based on patient needs and in an effort to continually improve our quality of care to the highest level possible.  We aspire to provide exceptional health care services to patients and their families regardless of economic level.

Each year, through more than 380,000 patient visits, our health centers provide a full range of coordinated care to patients and families.

A team of 860+ strong: More than 860 employees continuously work to achieve our vision of providing exceptional health care services to patients and their families.

Between the cities of Glasgow and Somerset, Kentucky is an area made famous largely for the recreational lakes and rivers which stretch for miles along the Bluegrass state's southern border. Beginning just outside of Burnside, Kentucky and running along the four lanes of Highway 90 through Monticello, skirting past the north end of Albany, and straight into downtown Burkesville, the southern lakes region provides visitors with the most diverse of landscapes anywhere in Kentucky.

To the north is Lake Cumberland, one of the largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River. To the south is Dale Hollow Lake which occupies the southern borders of Clinton and Cumberland Counties and on into north central Tennessee. Further north is the Green River Lake in Adair County. Crisscrossing through the entire service area of the Cumberland Family Medical Centers are the Cumberland and Green Rivers, popular among canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts because they run through some of the most picturesque areas of southern Kentucky.

The southern lakes region is a treasure for families who value a life free from the daily irritations of an overpopulated metropolitan suburb.

Housing developments abound and range from exclusive lakefront developments, comfortable suburban style neighborhoods, and ranch homes for families who prefer their privacy. The low cost of living also means that debts and loans are easily paid off while also enjoying a superior quality of life.

While the area is popular with tourists, it is also a place many people like to call home. The communities are small. It is an area where people move who prefer open spaces free of excessive zoning restrictions and regulations. It's for people who prefer driving from work to home with the fewest numbers of stop signs and traffic lights possible.

It's for people who want to have an immediate impact on the development of their community; who wish to know their children's teachers by name; and who want to know their neighbors in the comfort and security that only life in small communities provide.
