Cumberland Falls State Park
: Romantics are enchanted with the poetic beauty of the falls. Visitors are awed by the majesty of the falls. Historians note the uniqueness of the site. Often called the “Niagara of the South,” Cumberland Falls has attracted the attention of countless people since prehistoric times and continues to attract thousands of visitors each year. Located just a few miles away from Corbin, Cumberland Falls is a great getaway to hike, raft, or just site see.

Lake Cumberland: Located in Somerset, KY, Lake Cumberland has recently been rated the number 4 best recreational lake in the country. With opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and site seeing, the beauty of Lake Cumberland is enough to impress any guest. Because the lake has been carved from the rock in the region, the banks of the lake are contained by beautiful cliffs and lush greenery.  If you would like more information about boating or fishing at the lake, Click here.

Laurel River Lake:
Located in the midst of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Laurel River Lake is a favorite destination for thousands of visitors each year. The quiet coves and cliff-lined shores offer relaxation and quiet reflection, as well as boating, fishing, skiing and scuba diving in one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Kentucky. Fishing for black bass, rainbow trout, walleye, crappie, blue gill and catfish is excellent. Night fishing for trout is also popular during the summer months. Boating opportunities are provided by seven launch ramps located conveniently around the lake. The quiet bays and backwaters of the lake are excellent locations for wildlife viewing. The lake has a resident population of giant Canadian geese, and is home to wintering bald eagles. It is also possible to glimpse the native wildlife; including deer which frequent the shore line. A permanent beach maintained by the Corps of Engineers at the spillway of the Laurel River Dam is an excellent location to spend a lazy afternoon. The clear water and submerged rock formation also make Laurel River Lake a popular destination for scuba divers. The 5,600 acre lake, located in Laurel and Whitley counties was impounded in 1979 by the Corps of Engineers. Laurel River Lake is located near the cities of London and Corbin.
