Staff Physician - Primary Care in Louisville, KY

About the positions

  • Compensation plan based on work relative value unit productivity as well as a value-based incentive plan with a focus on quality and patient experience

  • Flexibility to work full time or part time

  • Opportunities available for traditional medicine and outpatient only

  • Hospitalist coverage for patients is available through two employed groups with more than 25 physicians and eight advanced practice providers

  • Continuing medical education(CME) opportunities within Norton Healthcare and funds available for additional CME

  • Opportunities to participate in the physician advisory board, leadership academy, committees and community involvement

  • Norton Medical Group equips each office with a multifunctional team, led by a practice manager, to handle day-to-day operations including billing, coding, recruiting, information services and more, allowing physicians to focus on patient care

  • Electronic medical records system (Epic) integrated in 100 percent of Norton Healthcare practices and hospitals

  • Certified by National Committee for Quality Assurance as a patient-centered medical home

Requirements for this position

  • Medical degree/diploma

  • Residency/fellowship certification

  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible
